4. Read page 134 and 135 to acquire background knowledge about the Puritan Belief prior to reading the story.
5. Write a paragraph comparing the summary to the original transcript. Remember to have a topic sentence and use proper form when quoting sources.
6. Plea of Mercy- Write a short letter of appeal, in proper English form, asking panel members to reconsider their decision to hang Sarah Good. Tell why the court documents you have read do not convince you of her guilt.
